That brings up an important point that anyone who has kids who participated in sports for a long duration (e.g. elementary all the way to high school and maybe college) should be able to relate to. The physical differences between males and females changes significantly when members of either group reach puberty. Combine that and the fact that the two groups tend to hit puberty at different times, means that there are windows of time where a bio females can meet or exceed the physical abilities of bio males at the same age.
Basically, one is more likely to find trans-male athletes effectively competing against bio-males at younger ages, less so (or not at all) at the olympic/pro levels.

I had kids, a boy and a girl, All County in soccer, who competed in those years.
I also coached grade school and Middle school kids, so yes, I DO have experience on the issue.
Yes; it is definitely true that women often have a mental edge in sports. We also have lightning-fast reaction times.
And this is why women don’t belong in men’s sports, either.
I don't think you can mix "physical" demanding sports, soccer, baseball, basketball, etc. with "standing still" sports like archery and gun shooting sports.
NOT knocking archery and gun shooting.
Being a long time hunter with both, women CAN shoot just as well BUT, MOST have a hard time dragging the big game out alone. Even a 150 lb. deer is tough for even men. Much harder for a woman.
I wish that wasn’t every conservative male’s answer to this because it’s just a stupid take. Did it ever occur to you that not every woman voted for this crap? Or that perhaps the person who voted for it may now be open to other arguments but you’re pushing them away?

I used to enjoy certain female sports, basketball especially, because women's teams typically don't have one player being constantly fed the ball.
It's a team effort, and that makes for a more interesting game, but it's over now.
If a female team doesn't have a trans ringer today, they'll have to get one to compete against the teams that do.
Unless the hormone therapy starts before puberty, there is no biological match. Period.
I disagree STRONGLY with this. For one, it encourages people to believe hormone therapy at a young age is a good thing when it is emphatically NOT a good thing. For another, it doesn’t matter because biological males have different skeletal structures and larger lungs and heart and all sorts of biological advantages that biological females do not have. No amount of hormone therapy will change that.
Besides, what are the long term effects of hormone therapy on young children? We don’t know. Are you willing to let your kid be the Guinea pig?
