I have no dog in this fight but it's obvious why some blacks don't like the confederacy or confederate statues. The CSa wanted to preserve slavery and started the first shots of the civil war. I mean some say it was about states rights but I'm glad they the CSa lost. This whole debate about confederate statues is an issue between whites and blacks though. Just stating my opinion on this. But then their are white southerners who truly only see the confederate flag or statues as a part of history and southern pride. So idk. I'm Asian so it's not like something I feel to strongly about but it makes sense blacks would feel a certain way about it obviously and it's completely understandable imo.
So you are Asian. Would it been ok for you for a central power to invade, kill and destroy China, Korea or Japan (wherever your from) with the excuse to end slavery when in reality it wasn't the reason. The end justify the means. Do we take down statues from the slave era in Asia because it offends somebody?
Help me to understand the underlined, thanks in advance.
Battles of meritorious note, strategic or tactical impressiveness, sacrificial effort on a battleground.

The Far East has some pretty contentious monuments. Look up the Mimizuka edifice in Japan. It's "dedicated" to the Imjin War where Japan invaded the Korean peninsula in the 16th century and brutally seized "war trophies" in the form of mutilated ears and noses. The monument has interred the noses of tens of thousands of men, women, and children from that conflict. Mimizuka itself translates to "Ear Tomb".

Confederate statues were built during the Jim Crow era and civil rights movement which was 50 years after the civil war. Why do you think they just decided to build these statues then.

This is a fair question. To be fair, I don't think I'd care. My moms from Japan but I personally don't identify with Japan or Japanese people. I am a us citizen born in Japan but raised here.
They were only put up as a middle finger towards the civil rights movement. They’re not really historical. If you ask me they should take the heads of the statues and donate them to dog parks for dogs to urinate oif statues are your only way of learning about history, then maybe you can learn when you take your dog for a walk.
“There is not even a milligram of doubt that such a degrading phenomenon would not occur in any other religious site in the country without treatment and solution."
Mt. Rushmore was more of a tribute to past presidents for the sake of honoring them.
Mount Rushmore honors slave owners and traitors to Britain. The whitehouse was built by slaves. So by your logic both must be destroyed.
You don't get to nitpick and cherry-pick what part of American history to retain or censor.
