You might be living through The Turn if you ever found yourself feeling like free speech should stay free even if it offended some group or individual but now can’t admit it at dinner with friends because you are afraid of being thought a bigot. You are living through The Turn if you have questions about public health policies—including the effects of lockdowns and school closures on the poor and most vulnerable in our society—but can’t ask them out loud because you know you’ll be labeled an anti-vaxxer. You are living through The Turn if you think that burning down towns and looting stores isn’t the best way to promote social justice, but feel you can’t say so because you know you’ll be called a white supremacist. You are living through The Turn if you seethed watching a terrorist organization attack the world’s only Jewish state, but seethed silently because your colleagues were all on Twitter and Facebook sharing celebrity memes about ending Israeli apartheid while having little interest in American kids dying on the streets because of failed policies. If you’ve felt yourself unable to speak your mind, if you have a queasy feeling that your friends might disown you if you shared your most intimately held concerns, if you are feeling a bit breathless and a bit hopeless and entirely unsure what on earth is going on, I am sorry to inform you that The Turn is upon you.
The Turn

The President is ultimately responsible for whatever happens in the nation on his watch. That's the way it always works.

The rules of the game don't change based on who happens to be President.

[quote=dsjj251;62476561]Covid, predates Biden.

Covid

Bidens gas policy has affected prices one bit

Quote:
be more specific.

Trump wanted to pull out in may, and you were fine with it
Yes, Trump wanted to pull out of Afghanistan in May, but wanting to do something and it actually happening are two different things. Specific conditions first had to be met prior to getting out of there which didn’t include leaving American citizens and our allies behind along with $85 billion of equipment. Hello?

I have a whole post about how organized theft rings have existed for years and yall seem to be oblivious to that fact.

WHAT ???
There have been more covid deaths under Biden then there has under Trump and Trump had no vaccine to work with. Biden is responsible for those deaths.

Quote:
Super vague
Foreign policy has always been Biden’s weakness along with the many weaknesses he has. Russia is about to invade Ukraine, China is about to invade Taiwan, Iran is months away from a nuclear weapon, and the Middle East is a mess again. Biden is encouraging Ukraine to cede land to Russia.

Quote:
people fed up with working for corporations that dont care about them. Not sure how Biden is to "blame" for that.
No, when people are paid to stay home rather than go back to work, that causes a work shortage. Hello?

Quote:
again, pre dates Biden. simply peaking now as 2019 inventory is completely gone.
Worker shortage. And it sure didn’t help with Pete being on paternity leave for two months during this crisis.

Quote:
George Floyd protests happened in 2020 Trump was president.
True, the protests happened under Trump, but it wasn’t Trump fueling that fire was it. Wasn’t it Kamala Harris publicly stating that these rioters and looters shouldn’t stop and that she helped with funding their bail? Maybe it isn’t fair to put all the blame on the poor race relations, the entire democrat party and their sycophants are also to blame which started under Obama. They have out identity politics into overdrive since 2008 and it has only gotten worse. Ask any Marxist (leftist/progressive/regressive) who white supremacists are. Every one will tie it into a Trump supporter. You leftists even made a claim that Trump called white supremacists “fine people” which is a complete fabrication.

Quote:
So yea, come back and try again, name an actual policy you disagree with, and something Biden actually did.

So you come back and try again and tell me a policy of Biden’s that has helped our nation?

However, one thing that has definitely changed: those with college education now strongly favor Democrats. The GOP is now the party of old, non-educated, white males.
The one thing that hasn’t much changed for many years is the percentage of blacks in the USA.
It’s been stuck at between 12 & 13% for years. How is that possible, especially when we consider the large numbers of African and Haitian blacks who have either immigrated or illegally crossed the border into the USA?

As for the Hispanic population - Harris- Harvard, Wall Street Journal, Catalist, Dallas Morning News, Texas Tribune, Gallup, AP-NORC Votecast and the PEW validated voter data ALL SHOW the shift toward Republicans by Hispanics. The Democrat Party is well aware of this, but there is little they can do about it. The Leftist Agenda is like a runaway train and Hispanics are paying attention and jumping off.

The Democrats’ Hispanic Voter Problem - It's Not As Bad As You Think—It’s Worse , The Liberal Patriot Substack

The Democrats are steadily losing ground with Hispanic voters. The seriousness of this problem tends to be underestimated in Democratic circles for a couple of reasons: (1) they don’t realize how big the shift is; and (2) they don’t realize how thoroughly it undermines the most influential Democratic theory of the case for building their coalition.
…….

It is hard to avoid the conclusion that Democrats have seriously erred by lumping Hispanics in with “people of color” and assuming they embraced the activism around racial issues that dominated so much of the political scene in 2020, particularly in the summer. This was a flawed assumption. The reality of the Hispanic population is that they are, broadly speaking, an overwhelmingly working class, economically progressive, socially moderate constituency that cares above all, about jobs, the economy and health care.

I’ve said for years that Leftists are making a big mistake by assuming that Hispanics/Latinos are going to blindly follow a Leftist agenda - they won’t. I’ve lived, gone to school with, worked with Hispanics all my life.

Democrat Analysts are busy attempting to warn about this shift, but few Leftist decision makers are paying attention. They are too deep in their Echo Chamber. The writings at Substack are Left, but not crazy Socialist. The polls they list are certainly Left Leaning. They are all worried, it also ignored by those they are trying to wake up.

Again, not good foreign policy China invading Taiwan. Our enemies are on the move and they are laughing at us because of Biden.

Read the article. Iran is closer to a nuclear weapon than ever before.

Three peace treaties have been signed and Trump’s presence has kept us out of new wars. Now the heat is turning back up.

Read the article. The Biden administration is pressuring Ukraine to cede land to Russia.
