How do you think it worked for other vaccines that require boosters? The MMR used to be just one shot, but now it's two because they found out that the efficacy wore off after a while. Chickenpox used to be one shot, too. They added the Tdap to the 11-year-old schedule because they realized the first three or four given in babyhood and at age 5 weren't enough. This is no different.
It's a little different. 4 shots in a very short time and there is no end in sight. No comparison in any way to the other vaccinations you mention. They don't even share the same definition with the mRNAs.

I would say that the ones who are bellying up to the Big Pharma vax bar every 3-6 months saying “please sir I want some more” are the ones who are fearful.
