Telling cops they can't execute people on the street because somebody smelled weed isn't the same as "supporting lawlessness". Cops are supposed to be bound by the law, too.
You should look into what criminal justice reform means. It has nothing to do with executing people after smelling weed, anyway.
The entire worldview of the left is based on the dichotomy between the "oppressor class" and the "oppressed class." The fundamental tenet is that the oppressor class is always to be condemned and the oppressed class is always to be defended.
Guess which class the thieves in question are a part of?
I agree with your viewpoints. Leftists are all about providing handouts and freebies. Looting and stealing small amounts of goods from the evil capitalists? Heck, most leftists feel the theives are ENTITLED to those items because society has let them down in so many ways.
Yes, this view is a headscratcher and just plain odd, but then again so are most leftists that I've encountered.
Not anymore! I have a client that used to work on the Seattle Police force for over 10 years. He, like quite a few of his fellow officers, quit and left the force. He said it's time to leave "when the ones wearing the handcuffs are the police, not the criminals." His words, not mine.

What's his opinion about when police are criminals? No criticism allowed?
I know that many or most Democrat voters are not okay with the decriminalization of theft and the elimination of pretrial detention, but too many of the people they voted for are. Obviously.
They enacted policies that were certain to cause "what's going on", and now that it's happening, they're happy to let it continue.

What’s funny about this is all these lefties fighting for this don’t realize what camp they will be in when it goes down. One day they are going to wake up in the world they created and be like, wait this isn’t fair. You already see some on the left saying wait a minute this is going too far, but the hard left keeps pushing AND they have al the power. Ninety nine percent of all these lefties will be right in the same boat as all the people they accused of being oppressors, that is poor and enslaved to big brother.

The capital class steals an average of $1 million from each worker over their lives. No I don't care about shoplifting. Burglars could empty your house every day your whole life, and they probably couldn't take as much as what's being invisibly stolen from you.
