Trump was the opposite of a fascist.
He wanted freedom and choices. He wanted less rules and wanted states to have their own rules. Look how he handled Covid as he gave states the power to implement their own laws and we can CLEARLY see if you want freedom to choose how to live with Covid, you want to live in red states. DeSantis believes in freedom of choice with Covid.
You really need to understand meanings of words before you use them. I mean this to be educational, not looking down or judging you. Just live in reality and know the words you use.
Trump is the epitomy of a fascist. He is not as bad as Benito Mussolini, yet, because our system still partly works, and we threw him out in the nick of time. He is a right wing, fascist, lunatic, a corrupt white nationalist, dictator-in-waiting and the enemy of everything America stands for. Fascisim didn't work out so well for Hitler or Mussolini, did it?
If Trump is reseated he will destroy the America you know and replace it with the most authoritarian police state in history. We are already nearly there. My gawd people - he had unmarked secret police, the forerunner to "death squads" kidnapping people off the streets in the summer of '20. He had concentration camps on the border and children in cages. He attempted a COUP to seat himself illegally, and by force when his followers sacked our Capitol, and over 700 people are in or awaiting prison because of it - AND he threw all his supporters under the bus afterward, instead of issuing a blanket pardon.
By Trump shirking his duties and denying covid he forced unprepared states to implement a mish mash of conflicting approaches with no unified front resulting in the GENOCIDE of what is already nearly 800,000 dead americans and probably a million or more before this slows - if - it doesn't mutate into something uncontrollable. The blood of the dead stains his hands and the hands of every covid denier and Trump supporter, and every right wing republican governor in the country.
And those are irrfeutable facts.

Trump used to media as a wedge issue to divide America! Yes, declaring the mainstream media to be "fake news" is a dog whistle for all of his member to ignore media - that is a form of media suppression.
Previous dictators Hiter, Stalin. and Mao all declared the media the be "the enemy of the people". Trump did the same.
