But in reality, people die, even after following their doctor's advice, living a healthy lifestyle, etc. How many people die of cancer, heart disease, and other major killers, even after following their doctor's advice, eating right, not smoking, etc? COVID is no different. Wearing a mask doesn't mean you won't catch COVID.
And who decides when a pandemic is over? Most of the world's population has some form of immune response now, either from vaccination or a previous infection. The virus is not going to stop circulating and mutating.
It does mean something, it means they are good liars that excel at manipulating people.

This is precisely the mindset that Dr. Fauci could not anticipate. Dr. Fauci is probably just as surprised that over 35,000 people each year still contract Aids for the same reason.
He miscalculated badly. He thought Americans were smart enough to get vaccinated to protect themselves and their families as soon as it was available. He never suspected that a medical issue would become a political football.
