Anyone notice that most of Fauci's detractors are not coming from the medical or scientific community? Perhaps a "noted" Dr. or scientist on the internet here or there but its mostly politicians and TV and radio personalities.
Oh yeah I forget, the liberal media is suppressing the real Covid facts.
He has plenty of detractors in the science and medical community. They're all being censored and deplatformed however.
Pretty much nobody thought it would last this long. Remember Trump thought it would be over by Easter 2020.
A lot of us thought that once the vaccines were available, that the pandemic would gradually come to an end. We overestimated the intelligence of the American public and underestimated their stubbornness with respect to refusing vaccination.

A lot of people on this site have been talking about "Fauci lies", but I have not been able to find out what he supposedly lied about. The one thing I did read was that he and Rand Paul had a heated argument in which Paul accused Fauci of funding "gain-of-function" research in China, and Fauci claims that the funding did not support that type of research. It seems like a he said / he said deal; no consensus on who is correct.
I know he has revised his estimate over what percentage of population is required for herd immunity, but the fact is no one really knows what that threshold might be for a new virus. So he was making a guess and revising as new info became available.
If you can post an example of him admitting to lying, I would be interested.
