They can stress it all they want, but the way American public schools operate - if the parents are educated, so will be their children.
But if the parents are not educated/luck in this department, so will be their children.
That's downright a dangerous trend.

Asians come here not speaking a word of English, and force their kids to be well educated. Within one generation those children are super successful. Kids who grow up in one parent households are far less likely to grow up well educated. This is true of children of any race. The problem is 70 percent of black kids grow up under these circumstances.

You make it seem like these well educated parents don't discipline, supervise or stress education on their children at all and by pure coincidence those kids are magically well educated.
Unfortunately you can't force people to be good parents.
Obama doesn't care. Low income people are insured but you get what you paid for (or not paid for if on Medicaid).
There is a need for mediocre docs in family medicine to serve low income neighborhoods. And these docs don't make much money at all.
We need more women and minorities to fill that need. If not, we'll take doc trained in Jamaica whose name you can't pronounce to serve Obamacare patients.

The overwhelming majority of doctors are top quintile in IQ, and doctors come from high IQ parents, high IQ parents make more money, their kids do better in school, have higher IQs on average etc. etc. etc. Income tracks IQ very well.

The far left absolutely hates Asians because Asians disprove all of their pandering race baiting nonsense about black people.
Perfect example- in NYC they wanted to get rid of the admissions tests for specialized high schools because they said poor kids were at a disadvantage on the tests since rich kids could hire tutors etc. Then when they actually did a little research they found out that 1) Asians by far did the best on these tests and got into the schools at a much higher rate proportionally than other races. 2)Asians have the highest rate of people in poverty of any race in NYC. Of course now they can't go with the "poor" angle to get rid of these tests so they waited a few years, are trying to get rid of them anyway and totally stop mentioning poverty rates when trying to justify it.
The far left is also beyond racist. They think black people are too stupid to be held to the same educational standards as white people. They make excuses for black people when they commit violent crimes. They think black people are too stupid to even get an identification card.I don't think black people or people of any race are beneath me. I hold them to the same standards I hold everyone else. The far left should try that.

Look you have to be in the game to know how it is played.
That does not favor minority applicants.
of course when you get rid of things like test scores and go off a woke interview process of course "diversity" is going to rise. however standards and outcomes will fall.
There are no white organizations standing up for the interests of white people. Yet just about every minority and women have groups pushing for greater amounts of the pie. Thus they get more admissions, hiring, promotions, etc. while white get an every diminishing amount.

Heck back when the soctus ruled against Allan Bakke in his case for not being admitted to medical school while lower scoring blacks were, he lost.
One of those accepted instead of him was pushed through school and undoubtedly was able to pass the boards due to lower scores as well.
Guess what happened to him?
He butchered several patients (killing one), and has his medical license pulled.
