Again, if this event is inclusive why is it not just called “family playground night”. The people invited all have something big in common, children attending the elementary school that is hosting the event. This is family event which includes students, obviously.
You can twist yourself into a pretzel to make up reasons why this isn’t racist and illegal but the facts speak for themselves and it is illegal and racist.
What is the official white position on when/where/how black people/hispanics/asians are allowed to assemble, discuss educational issues related to their race/culture and/or simply meet each other to create support networks?

It has no business being hosted at a public school. One of them can volunteer their house, and they can all meetup their.

Distinctions are not being made about the students.
White people with or without their kids are not prohibited from attending. Why they would want to insert themselves into an event about POC who may have common issues is beyond me. Can you tell me why?
White people wouldn't want to insert themselves into a meeting meant for people of color - which is why you should stop thinking the argument that 'nobody is prohibiting them from attending' is valid. It's not.
Many of you are muddling the argument with what poc means, who can go, what it's for. The ONLY thing that matters is this:
If white people put on an event for whites only - they would be called racist. Bottom line.

Hey new person. I can assure you - none of the people posting in this thread are paid shills.
Well, I'm not sure about you - but the rest of us aren't.

When it is a government sponsored and sanctioned activity for public school children on school grounds. Playdate has zero to do with discussion of educational issues related to race or culture. If there are educational issues related to race within the school the discussion should be at a school board meeting and open to all.
My position is to adhere to both the district policy which does not allow schools to segregate by race as well as the state constitution. I think I’ve made my position clear throughout the thread.
Why do you think the school should ignore the law and the district policy and teach kids that it’s ok to segregate based on skin color.
