Let's just call a spade a spade: This is about the Woke Left Virtue signaling its reverence for Islam, no matter how extreme or repugnant some of the practices of its more fundamentalist factions.
I'm not a Christian myself, but something tells me there would be far less tolerance for such a custom if it were part of Western religion.
This strongly parallels to the woke madness we see here in the US, what with the permissiveness of destruction of private property and entire neighborhoods - as long as those engaging in the destruction are of the "correct" race or harbor the "correct" politics.

I remember during the Roy Moore deal, the right was defending child marrying laws which a lot of states have at 14yo. For teh record, I dont care what your favorite book is (Bible or Quran) I dont think you should be able to get married until you are 18, I would be ok for 16-18 under certain circumstances proving the age gap isnt more than 2 years.

That’s a given. You think it’s appropriate to split a pregnant underaged wife from her husband? Leaving her in a new country without him? What sense does that make? And she was 17, not 12.
If you’re protesting the issue, then don’t admit anyone involved in those marriages at all.
