Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot faced criticism last week after she responded to the recent flood of robberies in her city by blaming retailers for not better protecting their merchandise.
Lightfoot's comments were blasted by retailers as misinformed...."
They voted for this crap and these losers, so let them stew in their own juices.
The irony is that the cause of these sewers-that-used-to-be-cities is obviously squarely on the shoulders of the imbecilic leftist leaders. But the typical lib just keeps on voting these sorts of imbeciles into positions of power and then try to blame any and everything else when things go to crap. Then when it gets so bad, they can't take it, they move to other cities and start the whole process over again. Fit's the definition of insanity very well.
Sane people need to stop bailing out democrats and need to simply leave heavily blue areas, and then don't vote blue where you move too. Is that too much to ask? Democrat run areas need to be allowed to collapse to show that their policy choices do not work. Detroit on a nationwide scale. After the dust settles and blue people are gone, let the areas rebuild.
I wouldn't even count on the red to help save and rebuild things, just do it at a grassroots community level. At the federal level they are all too corrupt to be relied upon. Leadership this world over has failed miserably during covid in the level of corruption they have allowed to occur.
It might even be better in some cases to have total gridlock and not allow either party to dominate, but the problem is blue policies are so destructive to our culture (some of them) , the red are lessor of two evils here.
