If NYC has more cases than ever how does it work for Chicago?
Also they said this is in effect until the surge ends. Had NY placed a timeline like that?

The Chicago version should be proof of vax + bulletproof vests.

These vax passports don't work. I'm astonished at how rapidly they are being deployed with zero consideration of their impact on various industries, minorities, employment etc. They do this without any input from the communities, businesses etc. Unreal.

Finally, an effective strategy to stop mobs of shoplifters from storming into the stores!

(Uh, in case you couldn't tell, that was sarcasm.)

LOL! You're more likely to be a victim of crime in Chicago than get Covid, I think, so very apt response.

Being vaccinated would not make me feel safe in Chicago.

(full disclosure: I am a vaccinated but not boosted individual)

A mask mandate is needed as usual for a drive by.

I got my booster this morning but I'm not lugging around my vaccine card everywhere I go. Show my papers? Nah. Put on a mask? That's a good one! Keep those jokes coming. Humor is good!

This is crazy. Chicago has many weekends where dozens are shot. Maybe if they want to make the city safer and actually make people feel safer, they should try doing something about that first...
