"Studies show that those who are unvaccinated continue to be more likely to be infected, more likely to be in the hospital and more likely to have severe complications from Covid-19," Walensky said at the briefing.
Still seems like being unvaccinated is playing Russian Roulette with your health...
Yes, all unvaccinated and "never had it" are "more likely" than the vaccinated. The vaccines provide at least some (might only be 10%, might be 90% depending on age, etc).
If a 12 year old has a 0.005% vaccinated and a 0.02% chance unvaccinated OF SERIOUS ISSUES .... does that difference matter?
Unvaccinated is "playing Russian Roulette with your health" if you're over 65 or immune-compromised. Probably not a continuous 1 in 6, but high enough to act on
"It’s estimated that less than 1% of vaccine reactions are reported on VAERS."
MSN Article: "This case is currently under investigation and until the investigation is complete, it is premature to assign a specific cause of death."
The determination of the cause of death is done by the certifying official who completes the death certificate or the pathologist who conducts the autopsy. VAERS is not designed to determine if the vaccine caused the reported adverse event.
"It is also important to note that VAERS is also open for any member of the public for submissions, alongside healthcare workers (vaers.hhs.gov/reportevent.html). These reports do not necessarily imply that the vaccine caused the death and often include entries not yet confirmed or verified by the government agencies."
"VAERS reports alone generally cannot be used to determine if a vaccine caused or contributed to an adverse event or illness. Some reports may contain information that is incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental, or unverifiable. VAERS reports often lack contextual information, such as total vaccinations given or information on unvaccinated groups for comparison. Most reports to VAERS are voluntary, which means they may be subject to biases. Data from VAERS reports should always be interpreted with these limitations in mind." https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019...ety/vaers.html
The alleged 34 miscarriage's accusation was on this board the other day and discredited as fake news from the far right tin-foil hat brigade.

And if an adult is going to play the what-if game no matter what is said then why bother, spin the wheel and I hope they never get ill. But this mind-set that anything ever said is fact for all eternity or its a 100% or nothing is just ridicules.
Maybe just doing it for the greater good where a child's teacher or a co-worker may be more susceptible than you yourself is reason enough...
You did see in your month old link where they said....

You know I have seen many a news story over the previous months where an unvaccinated person has said from hospital rooms how their sorry they didn't get vaccinated either for themselves or their family member who is in critical condition or has passed away from Covid.
Can't say I have ever seen a vaccinated person complaining how sorry they were for getting the shot(s)..
Yes, the media has reported these death-bed scenes where the unvaccinated begged for the vaccine but were told it was too late. Puh-lease. If you believe this manipulation by the media, I have an oceanfront property in Kansas to sell you.

If you remember, at first we were told when covid patients are hospitalized they feel better after getting the vaccine, then the spin changed to the unvaccinated begged for the vaccine but it was too late.
In my state, 90% of all current Covid hospitalizations are unvaccinated. That could change next week.
We have known since mid summer, the efficacy of vaccine begins to wane at the 5-6 month mark.
You keep making this claim yet never provide any evidence for it.
