They don't need that. Look into the Poseidon also known as the Standard 6.

But the western powers didn't want Japan having fun with colonialism like them, so they put an end to that very quickly
That was not the last time anyone invaded Russia though, lol.

At that, there was no invasion of "Russia". Japan attacked Russian controlled areas that were not part of proper Russia.

No, the US was constantly in violation, hence why the US was able to test fire a land based intermediate range missile system two weeks after pulling out of the treaty.

Or do you seriously think the US designed, developed, built, and set up to test fire all of this within two weeks?

I still believe that America and Russia can reach a certain compromise.

Lol, no, it will of course be technically a "compromise", but it really will not be.

Who ever has the leverage on any given issue, will use it fully.

Plus, pride runs deep, very deep on both sides.

The Cold War is very difficult to get over, more so for the US than Russia. For the US, you have an entire industrial base and institutional base set up around countering the Soviets, and all that disappeared overnight, the people however, did not, and though that culture has weakened with time, it still is entrenched.

Even into the 2000's, we were still calling out radars labeled "communists" in its association with vessel the radar was associated with.

For Russia, it has a different issue, in that it wishes to regain its global status it had under Imperial and the USSR. It does not (and will not) delegate itself to a second rate status, basically its status before Peter the Great. I really think the powers to be in Russia rather have it destroyed, and the world, completely than ever return to such status.

The world don't need a police country that violates international laws and policing the world for its own interests and benefits.
The nations of the world are not friends. None of them. Not even so-called allies. Every nation is an enemy to every other nation. An alliance is not a friendship, it is a temporary agreement to band together against a common foe. The moment that foe is no longer a threat, or the moment another alliance is more advantageous, the alliance ceases to exist.

If we woke up tomorrow and the United States simply disappeared, the entire world would be thrown into chaos. China would move across East Asia. Russia would move into Europe and the Middle-East. Israel would be immediately at war with most of its neighbors. The Arabian monarchies would all be overthrown. Turkey would be in Civil War. The entire world economy would collapse as the petrodollar ceased to exist.

The idea that the UN would handle everything is absurd. The UN is worthless.

You are correct in one thing, the United States has organized every war/conflict/occupation/overthrow/etc. As Noam Chomsky says, the term "international community" means "The United States and whoever we can convince to go along". There is no international community outside of the United States.

Jon Bolton explains it best...

Russia will not suffer extensively from sanctions. What is the West going to do? Deny Polar Bears born in Russia a travel visa? Kill NS?

THE GERMANS REQUESTED, BEGGED A RELUCTANT RUSSIA TO GET ON BOARD WITH IT!!!!

DO YOU THINK RUSSIA NEEDS IT?

Cut them off of SWIFT?

They already have an alternative. Anyone who thinks that's an effective measure knows nothing about the system.

Cut them out of the world monetary system? Can't be done.

The West, due to it's idiotic policies towards Russia have painted itself into a corner. The West has no power over Russia because it has destroyed almost all normal ties with Russia.

Maryovilla, you need to educate yourself, you look like an idiot.
Thank you for the lecture Comrade Putin, you certainly have the clearance to view NSA/CIA docs about the real Russia. Russia will not invade Ukraine, it's all posturing--Putin knows well there will be economic catastrophe and political suicide. Let's see, NATO allies and the rest of the world, except axis of evil nations including China, cuts off Russian export/import---then it's over without a bullet being fired.

Yeah Germany begged...sure--read here:

If you are extremely naive that Russia can survive then you are the real stupid, moronic idiot.

The OPLAN for Russia invading Ukraine is up and running as we speak.....if you don't know what that is then you need to educate yourself.

Funk stupid Russia, bunch of posers!
