Kids get sick. Kids get better. That's how they build up their immune systems. That's life for children.

And btw, more kids died from drowning in a pool than from covid. I don't see parents pulling kids out of their swim teams.

I'm just saying it's not only public schools.

And I'm saying kids get sick all the time for all sorts of things and we can't stop living because we might die. Do you stop giving your kids food because they might get food poisoning?

This thread is about democrats shutting down schools again. I was just responding that many private schools are as well. I'm not stating my opinion, just the facts.

And I'm saying shutting down schools is a ridiculous overreaction, no matter who does it. That's also a fact.

Actually there is an increase in not only Covid but Influenza A in the Northeast as is expected every year at this time. Schools have cancelled classes in the past due to many of the teachers calling off sick. The fact that the media is using Covid as the reason while not talking about the increase in influenza cases (at least in the articles I've read) is the problem.

Not all teachers support this virtual learning as they see how many students have suffered because of the lack of socialization, needing hands on extra help ect..

Scared? Isolate yourself and don’t be obese. You have no right to rob children of a natural learning and social environment in school K-12 school.
