Kamala doesn't exactly roll off the tongue and now it is very unpopular. If Harris becomes President the name might never recover.
Walking through the local Mall the other day I saw a kiosk that was selling calendars and along with the cute animals was a calendar that featured Biden. Worse was they had one with Kamala. Imagine 12 months of those 2 staring at you? Who is buying these? I wanted to stop and ask the clerk if those calendars came with darts.
“Kamala” means lotus flower. “Devi” means goddess. Kamala is also another name for Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of wealth, usually seated serenely on her lotus-flower throne, bright pink lotuses clutched in two of her four hands, a plate of gold coins overflowing in abundance at her feet.
She's Scum but really its not like it was ever a popular name. Not like it was the number 1 or even tenth most popular name for girls until she became known and people stoped out of hatred for her.
