That's not scientific, that is your opinion. Omicron spreads rapidly and doesn't end up increasing hospitalizations, problem is the Delta which is much more deadly is still her.

Thousands of New York City residents have been waiting in lines in below-freezing temperatures for hours to get tested for the new COVID Omicron variant, which typically presents with symptoms similar to the common cold.
thousands lined up in below freezing weather, not for a treatment, but just to see if they “have something”

And what a tragic waste of scarce healthcare resources

How is anyone going to be able to continue to claim masks and vaccines work?

CNN: New York state sees record daily high of new Covid-19 cases

"(CNN)New York state reported that Thursday had the highest single day count of new Covid-19 cases with 21,027, according to data released Friday.

New York's data also revealed that positive Covid-19 cases in the state jumped 154% in less than a week.

The previous high was January 14 when there were 19,942 new cases reported."
And.... if the infection is Omicron, that's good, because it's extremely rare for people to be hospitalized and/or die from it.

That's the fear porn merchants trying to distort the facts. What the fear merchants do not tell you is that people arrive at the hospital for some aliment unrelated to Omicron. They test positive for the virus during routine testing, and even though they are asymptomatic, the porn merchants report it as if hospitals flooded with patients because of Omicron.
