At least under this topic we finally have a black poster admitting that socialism is the number one reason that blacks vote Democrat. Is that something to be proud of when blacks have just as many job opportunities and freedom as whites do today? Doesn't that equate to laziness then? Yet to even suggest that he gets his panties in a twist. If it's not laziness then what is it?

It is. At least we are out the point where Leftist Democrats admit if they are Socialist and Marxist, something that was rare a few years ago.

Can't be too low Trust when Donald Trump recieved more Black Votes running against Biden, then he did against Hillary.
Well, when you see yourself vs the rest of the American population, it doesn't mean much.

I don't think the Black Panther Party was conned into Marxism. During the 1960s, there was a belief that the American system up to that time wasn't working for Black people. I notice that the populations that are the poorest and treated the worst have the highest likelihood of taking on Marxism/Socialism.

The way I see it, most people who fear socialism see the as being in charge of their society, or having watched their own society get more bad from it than good. Black people have contributed their lot in America. However, I think about this. Black Americans have dealt with BEING RAN by everyone.

Immigrants are coming from their own countries and the mentality is different. Black Americans got here under duress and spent a large portion of their time in America being enslaved. After that, a large portion being 2nd class citizens. While some towns have been founded by Black people, it wasn't at a large scale. Very few places in America are majority Black because they were estimated by Black people. They are majority Black because.....

1) Black people have been there since (and because of) slavery.

2) Black people started moving to other places and found there were many places they weren't welcome. Ghettoization.

3) Many cities decline and Black people are the most likely to stay behind (but even many in the Black middle class leave).

My point is this. I don't think most Black people really desire socialism. However, in order for it to be perceived as a dirty word, it would involved a strongly entrenched sense of rugged individualism, or seeing it as a bad thing from experience. Neither is there for many Black Americans.

It would also require worrying about someone besides yourself first. Those who feel their own standing in society is on shakier ground than anyone else, you're going to worry about your own problems first.

Something I need to clear up. More Black people aren't supporting Trump. More Black males stayed home, seen both choices for President being poor. Black women have a higher voter participation than Black men. The few Black men who would have voted Republican anyway went out and voted. Those who hated Trump, but couldn't stomach Biden either stayed home. Black people don't love Trump nearly as much as some people think.

Until the percentage (as well as raw numbers) of Black people supporting Republican candidates reaches levels around 30% or higher, forget it.

The poll does not have data by state, but I think that heavily non-Hispanic White states ultimately will go much more for the GOP or will go from purple to heavily Republican.

The reality is most Latinos and a large percentage of Suburban and Rural Whites are the ones work jobs that matter to the country and are economically feeling Beijing Biden's Inflation.

The urban whites with their consultant, strategist and elite government subsidized positions don't care about inflation and love the Democrats trillions out of thin air from the Biden regime and the zero interest rate policies of the Biden regime also.

The polls show African-American still strongly support the Democrats.

The GOP has turned into the party of old, white, uneducated males. So maybe now its the party of old, white and hispanic, uneducated males.

Well, it was easy for Castro to do. When you have a society of extreme haves and have-nots, in combination with the corruption and repression that was already there (Cuba's history of government repression, while it got even worse with Communism, was quite endemic before that. Look up what kind of nutcase Fulgencio Batista was). It's no coincidence that many Black Cubans supported the revolution. While Cuba didn't have Jim Crow laws, Blacks were often the poorest and most discriminated against in Cuban society. It was easy for many Black Cubans to join up with Castro, even it would end up doing more harm that good. When you're already at the bottom and in bad shape in the first place, you'll do anything that you think will help your survival.

You can call it whatever you want. When you're already at the bottom, you're going to look out for your own needs first. Anyone else will be secondary.

Of course the other definition of Socialism is that Socialism is a transitory period between the overthrow of Capitism and Communism. Many Black Revolutionaries: ie. People involved in the creation of BLM and CRT are Marxist and apparently too stupid to recognize that Marxism is a failed ideology everywhere it has been inacted.
Historically, government control has never truly served Black people. I look at things based on what they were, and what they are now. Historically, Black people never truly had a say in how America was ran. Black people having much political power in the first place is a relatively new things. It was always easy to have corruption in predominantly Black areas, when a majority of the Black population gets shut out of the voting process. Corruption in the post-Civil Rights era was easy to pass off when there is a strong "us vs them" kind of political/racial climate.

I don't think people who take up Marxist/CRT are truly conned or stupid. We're dealing with people who are really angry and would love to see the current system dismantled. Black revolutionaries have traditionally felt that violence is the only answer. Why would Black revolutionaries take up Marxism in the 1960s? Here is my answer. Anger and disdain for the current system. The belief that the current system would not serve Blacks at all. That is how Black revolutionaries have been thinking like over the last 75 years. Here is a question. WHY? Why were Black revolutionaries of the 50s and 60s taking up Marxism, violent revolution, etc? Really think about that. Taking up Marxism is a choice.
