America and much of the world are investing heavily in renewables or nuclear energy technology to secure a cleaner and more efficient future for energy production that produces less carbon emissions.
Do you favor renewables (solar & wind) or nuclear tech?
Europe seems to be leaning much more in favor of renewables, while nations like China are investing more heavily in nuclear technology.
There would be no flights to Hawai'i if they conserved on fuel for airplanes. Continue as they were. Using Kerosene, just like the website on google search said it does. They'll do wonders if they decide not to use Kerosene for airplane fuel. Instead figure out a technology like Solar panels to fly on. I say far and away from it. But a good idea. Solar panels for airplanes. And the big commercial ones too. Like the Airbus 300 airplanes. Imagine that technology and solar panels to fly it. Wow.
I have no problem with wind, solar, etc, energy... when PRACTICAL and affordable. What I have a problem with is the way the wind/solar religion believes jamming a square peg into a round whole works and is practical. There are limitations. Until we overcome those limitations, it is plain stupid to go into Rube Goldberg Machine territory.
The renewables are not there yet in technology to replace the old and reliable sources.
Of course we need to keep developing wind, solar etc but not at the expense of coal, oil and gas.
The Dems are rushing towards banning the ICE and what will happen when the grid fails and no one can charge their car?
No amount of subsidies can make electric cars a winner but natural innovation can. Subsidies simply hides the ugly truth of renewable sources. Nuclear is a great source of steady power but the radioactive spent rods are certainly a problem.
The answer might not be to create new power sources but to have less people to use them?
I have horrible internet right now......someone else with have to dig but I think I read the NRC gave some sort of approval for a modular reactor last week.
The US government is the problem with adopting nuclear. There’s really nothing wrong with it; it’s stupid policies here that are the problem.
Policies that likely are rooted in bribes from the existing energy producers from other fuels.
