I don't either, just as I don't want this idiot black racist dictating what schools teach. All parents should have a voice in school curriculum not just leftwing and right-wing nut jobs.
How about including the taxpayers? Many of us have kids long out of school but we pay thousands in taxes to support schools. We have no say. In my district it takes 2-4 houses to throw off enough funding for 1 student.
In Texas the state decides what to teach and what books to buy. The local districts select from what they are told by the state.
