You can do outreach w/o pandering. There's a difference between the 2. The GOP refuses to do the former; instead they vent about "black people bad", and they wonder why we vote Demwits about 90% of the time.

A majority of African-Americans are CHRISTIANS. That is why African-Americans everywhere celebrate Christmas. It is a holiday celebrating the birth of Christ. It is a Christian holiday celebrated by Christians all over the world. It is not just an American thing. Kwanzaa was created in America, and it's actually more American than Christmas. Christmas was celebrated long before America was ever founded.
