That is what I am hearing.
You can do outreach w/o pandering. There's a difference between the 2. The GOP refuses to do the former; instead they vent about "black people bad", and they wonder why we vote Demwits about 90% of the time.

Because it’s creator was a violent felon that served time for torture, felony assault, and false imprisonment?

Well, that was after he'd created Kwanzaa, which makes that not a reason to reject Kwanzaa.

There simply isn't a good reason to adopt Kwanzaa in the first place.

Sometimes I wonder if these people have anything better to do. I don't know anyone who celebrates Kwanzaa but it's no more ridiculous than Christmas. It's all nothing more than fairy tales.

What did MTG say that wasn’t true? Let’s hear it.
She said Kwanzaa is a religion.

African Americans everywhere celebrate Christmas. It is a defining aspect of American culture.

Kwanzaa has nothing to do with American culture.

More like obtuse control freaks. They can only see one straight line, or they will fall off the face of the earth.

A majority of African-Americans are CHRISTIANS. That is why African-Americans everywhere celebrate Christmas. It is a holiday celebrating the birth of Christ. It is a Christian holiday celebrated by Christians all over the world. It is not just an American thing. Kwanzaa was created in America, and it's actually more American than Christmas. Christmas was celebrated long before America was ever founded.
