There could be hyperinflation, but there is no lack of production capacity, at least for the moment.

Most likely outcome is deterioration in the quality of services.

Junk food, junk pharmaceuticals, junk entertainment, even the postal service is starting to become full of junk.

I've even learned to cut my own hair ... too many junk haircutters ... etc.

Good Luck!

If.........do you mean when??!?!?!?

Does anyone think Fedgov is really going to unwind the hyper-scammish thingies they started during the "great recession"? They will unwind a few money-spigot programs and policies...then promptly replace them with something else.

If Fedgov truly stops what they started, the whole mess will have a very nasty reaction.

So yeah, Fedgov can keep pumping indefinitely.

Rather than asking such a question here on CD, why don't you crack a history book and find out? It has happened several times in modern history, and the outcome is nearly always the same and nearly always not a good one. Unfortunately, because no one bothers studying history these days, we end up learning the hard way. Again. That's why I answered as I did. The answer is there if you want to see it. But nobody wants to see it. They want to live it.

It depends on where the money goes. If the money goes to the oligarchs and politicians, most of it will end up in secret bank accounts in the Cayman Islands.
