Not that there's any sort of comparison, but you may want to recall that as late as fall 2008, Musk had nothing but three impressive explosions to his name. Things can move quickly.

Seems his private company has grossly outpaced the Iranians over the past 12 years then....but the OP wants us to marvel at the accompishment.
Is nice to see some of what Iran is doing with all of that money Obama and Biden gave them. Next let's get an update on their progress towards a nuclear weapon that Obama and Biden made possible.
Wonderfully advanced. What was the last thing NASA did?
Advanced. HAHAHA! Over what? Throwing balls of mud in the air?
Welcome to not quite 1957. At least the Russians got Sputnik into a proven orbit then. Do you know what a ballistic missile is? It's basically Wyle E Coyote's big ACME bottle rocket with enough boom to reach an orbital altitude and speed. With a big enough canon you could do the same thing. Hell it doesn't even look like their little reflective disco ball satellites made it into orbit. Nobody's impressed. Most of Iran's tech was fed to them by China anyway and they stole it from us, made it worse and then handed it down to Iran to fumble through with it.

The US is not NASA.
NASA is a government agency and a component of the overall US space program which TODAY includes non-governmental companies as well. So the day non-government space companies entered the market, all bets are off. We win. As far as trolling questions goes, this one is pathetic.
Isn't it wonderful? Imagine what other great things you could be a part of if you were to apply for and be granted citizenship there?
I'm a dual citizen.
