Twitter is a publicly traded company, it's not a branch of the Govt. This is Capitalism in action folks.
capitalism requires a free market (i.e. no third party meddling). In that market there would be no govt certified corporations and no ability to lobby for special favors or protections.

The Terms of Service (TOS) has always been meant to restrict harassment, threats, copy-write infringement and illegal activities. Things that could get the company in trouble with the law. It has never meant to stop people from saying something the boss doesn't agree with.

Quote:
You may not use Twitter’s services to share false or misleading information about COVID-19 which may lead to harm.
Even as scientific understanding of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to develop, we’ve observed the emergence of persistent conspiracy theories, alarmist rhetoric unfounded in research or credible reporting, and a wide range of false narratives and unsubstantiated rumors, which left uncontextualized can prevent the public from making informed decisions regarding their health, and puts individuals, families and communities at risk.

Quoting a statistic from a government website?
Do I have that correct?
Isn't that where anyone can post unverified reports os possible reactions to the vaccine? Kinda like turning in a school report based on information from Wikipedia? Your teacher probably would not accept that report.
The woman is insane AND what could she have possibly said that would warrant a lifetime ban?
WHAT DID SHE SAY???
And WHY COULDN'T IT BE SAID?????????????????????????????????????????????? ??????????????
She can say that the vaccines don`t work but she`ll have to say it elsewhere. Twitter doesn`t want their platform to be used to get more people killed listening to really bad medical advice. You`re welcome.
During national health emergencies, any public official who spreads disinformation that undermines the response should be charged with a crime and fined, plus face employment termination or expulsion from Congress.
The 1st Amendment gives you freedom of speech but it does not shield you from the consequences of your words.
Stalin is that you?
