5 People in my family up north were not tested but they have all the symptoms of omicron. Chills , congestion, feeling hot and cold at the same time, night sweats, runny nose and feeling bad. They are many many more cases but people don't have a test kit to find out and are sick and don't want to go out and get tested.
I don't know who Disclose.tv is, but World O Meters is showing 408,874 new cases for what is now yesterday on their site.
Becauae of the week end they could not count all the cases reported and many more cases not reported. It is most likely well over a million. No test kits to be had.
Having three shots only give a false impression that one is safe and goes out maskless and gets omicron. Yup, Biden spreading false information as usual.
Amazing the FUD-packing that seems to have all the symptoms of the common cold. One that spiked quickly in South Africa (where it started) and then dropped just as quickly. No reason to think it won't crash just as quickly here.
Cue the stories ... hospitals are overwhelmed, the entire population is on ventilators or dead, picture of nurse holding head in her hands, an unnamed hospital spokesperson claiming 10,000% of patients are unvaccinated, hordes of deathly ill people standing in 20 degree weather for 5 hours to get tested ....

Most people indeed recognize that the virus is real Townie. But we're also rational enough to also recognize the sensationalized, hyperbolic gibberish that posters and the media spew to fear monger. And quite frankly, many of us are tired of it and have had enough. I'm sorry if you can't understand that.
I have all 3 shots; I wear a mask when going inside, I even wore one to see the trans-Siberian orchestra. No illness, no problems.
Time for people to take responsibility. Get vaccinated, wear a mask inside around other people. Kids, too young to be vaccinated, need more space in classrooms and wear a mask except when outside.
You can still get sick, do your best to protect yourself. Stop following those who are against self-responsibility.
Sorry, being responsible is not synonymous with getting a shot. That's simply your flawed belief system at play. Anyone can be responsible by simply wearing appropriate PPE, avoiding crowds, and keeping distance from others. It's really quite simple and does not involve a jab for those not interested in getting one. There are plenty of irresponsible vaccinated people that do the opposite of what I just mentioned. We've even had a few on this forum that had claimed they got their shot and had no intention of following any protocols.

Well if you're vaccinated, and especially boosted, then you don't need to wear a mask.
Remember, this is a pandemic of the unvaccinated.... yet most people I know recently that contracted the virus ARE vaccinated.
