Kudos to Mayo Clinic for doing the right thing. Proof of having had numerous FDA approved vaccinations have always been a condition of employment there. You don't like the rules at your job? Find the nearest door with an EXIT sign over it.
And all of those other vaccines have all had long-term studies completed on them. There is a difference between the Covid-19 therapeutic and the polio vaccine.
You can try to change the definition of a vaccine all you want by calling it a therapeutic, but you're simply wrong.
They'll just turn around and blame people for not wearing masks.
Then we could ask them if masks aren't efficient, how about a more healthy lifestyle, taking more vitamins and all? I don't know why but it reminds me of this meme. https://imgur.com/Lab8suR
Mayo Clinic employs 73,000 employees across multiple states. Not all employed or terminated are clinical.
I am a long time on again/ off again volunteer at local hospitals. As such, I have been required to have a variety of vaccines to volunteer. No exceptions. The Covid vaccine is only the latest.
Exactly it is the "latest". Every other vaccine that they require has been around for at least a decade. Until the definition of a vaccine was changed last year, it wouldn't have even qualified as a vaccine.
It has been proven to not stop someone from getting COVID. It has been proven to not stop someone from spreading COVID. It doesn't keep someone from possibly ending up in the Hosptial due to COVID. It does not keep someone from possibly dying from COVID. The only thing that it has shown is that at best it may provide some reduction in symptoms for some people. What is still unknown is what are the longer-term effects.
But keep up the mantra that the Mayo Clinic and the people that are being treated there are so much safer now that those "dirty" unvaccinated employees have been fired..

Your guys changed it. I was happy with the definition it held 5 months ago back to the beginning of it's first development.
