Unvaccinated are almost 4 times as likely to get Covid than fully vaccinated.
So, judging from this Virginia data, the number has indeed changed since October, but all it's done is come down from a ratio of 1:5 to 1:4. Cases are still concentrated among the unvaccinated.

My daughters montessori school has a policy that says if you come into contact with a person with covid then you dont have to quarantine ? Does that make any sense?

The policies these people enact do not back ANY SCIENCE.
End result-it just doesn't matter. The jabs have proven to be useless in terms of protecting people from catching Omicron. And the symptoms of Omicron compare with the common cold. The side effect of Omicron is antibody generation and protection of ALL variants of Covid. So, any rational person, that actually follows the science, would say, bring it on. Omicron parties, much like the "chicken pox" parties of old. Get the sniffles and be done with Covid. Step up, put down the face diapers and do your part to end this thing.

Having prior infection with Delta does not seem to stop a new infection with Omicron. That much is known.
