When you tell someone in your office to "fight like hell" it can mean to "turn in a application and talk about your ideas in office meetings."
But when a republican president tells the republican party, that a presidential election was stolen with rigged voting machines and foreign governments, and then tells republicans to "fight like hell", some republicans will naturally turn to violence (just like what happened.)
When a president democrat or republican says an election was stolen with rigged voting machines, there will be some violence and destruction. But most republicans will not allow Trump to share the blame for Jan 6 (instead they blame the patriots who believed Trumps election lies, or they change the subject to riots involving racial injustice.)

The vaporing is nauseating. I've been to rock concerts that were more dangerous. The Stones and ZZ Top in Houston '81. The Banditos motorcycle gang killed a guy opening night. Hard drugs sold openly in the bathrooms. Lots of fights. It was pretty hairy. Woodstock '99 was post-apocalyptic. Lots of violence, arson, sexual assault and anarchy over a three day period.
Gimme a break about an insurrection. Insurgents are guys we fought at Fallujah and in the Korengal valley in Afghanistan. Weak sauce.
This was GOPaPalooza with property damage. A conservative's spring break riot. Insurgents don't put on costumes, bring a concession wagon, act out for five hrs and then go home to their small plumbing business. This insurrection hysteria is retarded ... I know I'm not supposed to use the 'R' word but it's RETARDED! A defiance of all common sense and honesty. Or maybe they're for real and it's just a metric of how weak-kneed and easily terrified our tender liberal fellow citizens have become.

The ordinary people don’t care what happened to a bunch of greedy politicians thousands of miles away in DC.
But ordinary people, like my cousin who had his shop burned down by the BLM rioters in 2020, will remember 100+ riots during the “summer of love” and “peaceful” protests. THAT, they will remember
