But when a republican president tells the republican party, that a presidential election was stolen with rigged voting machines and foreign governments, and then tells republicans to "fight like hell", some republicans will naturally turn to violence (just like what happened.)

When a president democrat or republican says an election was stolen with rigged voting machines, there will be some violence and destruction. But most republicans will not allow Trump to share the blame for Jan 6 (instead they blame the patriots who believed Trumps election lies, or they change the subject to riots involving racial injustice.)
Exactly. They will be quick to attack Democrats for saying it was rigged but when it is a Republican, it is justified? Gimme a break...

Gimme a break about an insurrection. Insurgents are guys we fought at Fallujah and in the Korengal valley in Afghanistan. Weak sauce.

This was GOPaPalooza with property damage. A conservative's spring break riot. Insurgents don't put on costumes, bring a concession wagon, act out for five hrs and then go home to their small plumbing business. This insurrection hysteria is retarded ... I know I'm not supposed to use the 'R' word but it's RETARDED! A defiance of all common sense and honesty. Or maybe they're for real and it's just a metric of how weak-kneed and easily terrified our tender liberal fellow citizens have become.

And Senator Cruz ... et tu, Ted? et tu?

I don't get how you and other Trump supporters who served can have any respect for and support Cadet Bonespurs.

No President in the last 30+ years since Bush Sr had served in the military and fought in a war/conflict.

I am an OIF veteran. Are you saying just because Trump didn’t serve in the military, therefore, I should vote for Hillary or Biden over him? LOL

History will remember January 6. The attack on the Capitol of the United States will be Donald Trumps legacy and what he is remembered for.

The people that participated in the attack and those that stood fast in support of democracy will also go down in history, Democrats and Republicans alike.

The ordinary people don’t care what happened to a bunch of greedy politicians thousands of miles away in DC.

But ordinary people, like my cousin who had his shop burned down by the BLM rioters in 2020, will remember 100+ riots during the “summer of love” and “peaceful” protests. THAT, they will remember

I feel sorry for anyone who has to remember, recognize, bring relevance, or outrage on this day in our countries history. It's overblown!

Democracy was not at stake over a few hundred hillbillies. You could literally nuke Washington DC and knock out all politicians, and there is still a plan to continue government.
