The thing about 1/6 that makes it memorable and important is that it was perpetrated by Americans, not by a foreign enemy as in Pearl Harbor or foreign terrorists as in 9/11. It was committed by the clueless and gullible dregs of our political system -- duped by a would-be tyrant, a foolish self-anointed king, to overthrow the constitution and the results of a fair election. That event and his role in it will be remembered for generations and taught in US history classes.
The complaints that we hear about how a Trump vote lead early in the evening was changed to a Biden win when the votes were counted only underscores how clueless and inexperienced the complainers are with our election system and how precincts report the vote. They are equally clueless about the constitution. Furthermore, each state is different. Each state can make its own rules or change the election rules for an election without the approval some other state or some disgruntled candidate. None of those complaints carry any weight and challenges have not only been thrown out of court but the lawyers have been chastised or disciplined for frivolous challenges.
Sure things like Jan 6 happen all the time if your a Trump supporter, break the doors down and stop the vote certification business as usual.
