Armed mob? LOLOLOLOLOLOL it wasn't armed. The only person killed was an unarmed Ashlii Babbitt.
Calling the rioters unarmed is a conservative myth.

Facts First: It's not even close to true that all of the people at the Capitol on January 6 were unarmed -- and the claim is still false even if it is specifically about guns. People who illegally entered Capitol grounds during the insurrection were armed with a wide variety of weapons, including guns, stun guns, knives, batons, baseball bats, axes and chemical sprays. The Department of Justice said in an official update last week that so far "over 75" people charged in connection to the attack "have been charged with entering a restricted area with a dangerous or deadly weapon."
It will take years. They'll drag this out until 2024. It's all about their elections and power. Thank goodness people see through their nonsense.
Should be down within the year. They are going through it pretty fast.
I find the interviews with those that are pleading innocent particularly interesting. They are the ones that want the media attention and are happy to be on the news shows.
I saw one last night with the proud boy guy from Nashville that was fascinating. It gave some real insight in to how these criminals rationalize their behavior.
The shaman interview was also worth watching.
Very much looking forward to the senate testimonies. They are maybe even more fascinating.
It is a Newyorkism meaning "too bad". A "noogie" is an offensive rubbing of knuckles on someone else's head.
"J.E. Lighter, Random House Historical Dictionary of American Slang (1997) has separate entries for noogie and tough noogies but includes first cites to each term from 1972—and specifically from New York University:
noogie {orig. unkn.} 1. Juve. an act of rubbing or striking a person's head with the knuckles, esp. as a penalty. Also as v. [First cited occurrence:] 1972 N.Y.U. student: A noogie is a kind of a punch or a jab you give someone with your third and middle finger. You do it on the forehead or the shoulder. 2. usu. pl. a testicle. Joc. [Cited occurrence:] 1985 Northport, N.Y., woman, age 33: It's better than freezing your noogies off.

All three of Lighter's first occurrence's are from New York, although the earliest instance of "tough noogies" that I found (from 1967) is from Washington, D.C. From Sherry Schultz, "Soiree: O, Heighdy Ho," in the [American University, Washington, D.C.] Eagle (April 14, 1967) includes this item:"
Storming the Capitol was a day which will resound in US history. You can call this delusional but it is certainly too early to determine yet.
This was an armed mob doing what the confederates never could and the British never did. Just the fact of a mob invading the seat of US government is enough to give me pause. Others think it was just like a day of tourism.

In the NY draft riots, armed mobs attacked black citizens, burning their homes and in one case setting fire to a black orphanage after nailing the doors shut and firing guns on anyone attempting to escape. That's desecration and it happened.
