Heck, the house was SHOT UP in 1954. literally a hail of bullets with 4 congressmen shot and JIMMY CARTER PARDONED THEM ALL IN THE 1970's !!!

In a December 21 statement, Trump called January 6 a "completely unarmed protest." Similarly, in a tweet on December 17, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia wrote, "One of the biggest holes in the lie about J6 being a planned insurrection is that all the people there were unarmed. Anyone with half a brain knows that gun owners only leave their firearms at home when they don't feel the need to carry a gun or are obeying the law."

Facts First: It's not even close to true that all of the people at the Capitol on January 6 were unarmed -- and the claim is still false even if it is specifically about guns. People who illegally entered Capitol grounds during the insurrection were armed with a wide variety of weapons, including guns, stun guns, knives, batons, baseball bats, axes and chemical sprays. The Department of Justice said in an official update last week that so far "over 75" people charged in connection to the attack "have been charged with entering a restricted area with a dangerous or deadly weapon."

Exactly what do folks think those cable ties were for?

Here is one of your "75" who, it is claimed, he has been "charged with entering a restricted area with a dangerous or deadly weapon." ... or, has he?

Here it does make the claim that he was charged for "dangerous or deadly weapon"...

SHALVEY, Dale Jeremiah

Obstruction of Justice/Congress; Knowingly Entering or Remaining in any Restricted Building or Grounds Without Lawful Authority; Violent Entry and Disorderly Conduct on Capitol Grounds

Civil Disorder

Assaulting, Resisting, or Impeding Certain Officers Using a Dangerous Weapon and Inflicting Bodily Injury

Assauting, Resisting or Impeding Certain Officer

Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds with a Deadly or Dangerous Weapon
But wait, here's all of the documents regarding what he'd done and his charges. Where in any of these documents does it state what that weapon was that he'd had carried into the Capitol or how he'd used it? Or, is what is posted above^ merely a smoke screen, where they think the media and others just won't look too deeply into it?

Please show what weapon he'd had that he'd taken in the building with him and how he'd used it.

Trump is the best we will ever see, if you don't like politicians - which I certainly do not.
But I'll vote for DeSantis if he's the nominee.

DeSantis has passed every test he's been given, plus he's a competent politician. Definitely not the bull in the China shop like Trump, but good enough as a second option. His key to success is his wife, Casey DeSantis. She is a major consumer of new media (dailywire, blaze, Jordan Peterson / JRE podcasts, etc etc...), so she is VERY in tune with the woke resistance and brings Ron up on all the current cultural issues so he's not as clueless as Trump turned out to be at times.

Florida dodged a bullet by having Gillum loose to De Santis. Gillum was a Soros funded leftist who would have dragged FL under with all the mandates, defund the police, open borders, forced vaccines, economy and freedom crushing policies and WOKE and CRT forced education that is decimating leftist run states now.

Sure we can... because there wouldn't be 50 different standards. An engineer in Maine and an engineer in Arizona use the same standards right now. If those two states became sovereign, that would not change.

The "United States" aren't united right now. That wouldn't change all that much either. The only reason the libs want to be in bed with folks they absolutely despise and hate is the same reason an abusive husband wants to stay in bed with the ol' punching bag... if the punching bag left him, he wouldn't have anyone to torment, call names, abuse, and boss around. Liberals are synonymous on a national level with an abusive husband on a family level: bossy, abusive, territorial, controlling, and disgusting. An abusive husband will NOT allow a divorce. What fun would that be?

He’s everything that conservatives wish trump could be. He’s leagues better at being a politician and a human being.

Nah, because Trump is great, and so is DeSantis. Either one would be perfect as POTUS.
