They can't leave Australia. And he can't play in the Australian open 2022 tennis tournament. Dictatorship. He'll just have to wait this one out. 14 days. Or 10 days. Or 5 days. I don't know.

How is that like being treated as a terrorist? He could leave at any time.
When visiting any country, you play be their rules.

Australia’s quarantine requirement has been very clear.

People tend to use hyperbole to get attention.

Serbia is absolutely correct. Unfortunately, Djokovic is getting the same treatment many others have received at the hands of the tyrants running Australia.

I'm afraid Australia has been permanently removed from my bucket list. I won't take a chance on getting locked up indefinitely over "public health" paranoia and extremism.
Best you remove Hawaii from the list, too.

It continues to require visitors to quarantine for X days.

It is an island state, 2500 miles from US mainland. It’s healthcare system is limited.

Same deal in Canada and Israel and others.

Many countries restrict entries to those who are fully vaccinated and have a negative test.

And a few countries outright ban visitors from the US.

Entry requirements/ restrictions constantly change.

Doesn't the name of the source provide all the veracity we need? It's called "hot air".

And?

No certainty about the durability of immunity derived from a previous infection against newer variants.

Trump and wife were vaccinated 3 months after being infected. Trump was hospitalized and treated with antibodies too. He also chose to get a booster.

Reasonable to assume he receives the best medical attention in the world, including periodic antibody testing.

Yes - but that is not an acceptable reason for a vaccine waiver.

"Djokovic, who has said he is opposed to vaccination, had been granted by tennis authorities a medical exemption to play in the tournament, endorsed by the Victorian state government - which his lawyers say was on the basis that he had a bout of Covid confirmed by a PCR test on 16 December.

But upon arrival at Melbourne Airport, the tennis player's visa was apparently cancelled by border officials who said that under federal rules a prior infection was not a valid reason to enter without a vaccination."

And regarding his supposedly positive covid test on December 16, he was maskless on December 17.

According to some, any death within X after being vaccinated is related to the vaccine. This include deaths during trials despite the deceased being given a placebo.

Nearly 10 billion doses of vaccine have been given globally.

No vaccine has ever conferred immortality.

Natural immunity according to the "real" scientific experts (not Falsechi) is much stronger compared to a person who was vaxxed.

And what does Novak have to do with Trump? Last I knew Novak is the #1 tennis player in the world and I enjoy watching him as I always enjoy watching tennis.
