I'd wager that SCOTUS feels that there is no rush for this action as OSHA claims they won't start fining companies until February 9th so long as they make a "good faith" effort to comply. Good faith, while ambiguous, probably also leaves companies with a lot of wiggle room, to include issuing a plan to implement the requirement by a certain date and taking steps to do so absent a stay. If OSHA starts fining companies even in light of such steps, I wager we'd see the Court rule sooner.
If I had to bet, I say that opinions are being passed around and reworked. The outcome may seem easy to me, but how to get that outcome can cause some disagreements.
Hopefully this doesn't take too much longer, though.

That would be sadly inexcusable since many that do not want the vaccine are being put under heavier and heavier stress, coercion to comply and may end up where they did not want to be.
Like I said before, they will do nothing. Scotus likes to leave people hanging. They are weak and useless. Don't be fooled by thinking they're a conservative majority court. That doesn't even count when they're cowards.

Unfortunately, I'm hearing that companies are going ahead with mandates because it's easier at this point. That many of them aren't waiting to hear what SCOTUS says. If the mandates are upheld, then companies are left scrambling to get everyone squared away before the deadline.
Meanwhile, a few more individuals are reluctantly getting their shot to avoid possibly being fired. I know old people and those who speak English as a 2nd language giving in against their will. SCOTUS has probably all had their shot and don't value their health, so why would they care.
Nobody reaches that level of position with out enough dirt to bring them down if they dared to be a legitimate scotus judge that people believe they are.
