time to check your sources...they are misinforming you.
Politico themselves admitted they got it wrong, too. If you had relied on them before their mea culpa you would have been misinformed as well.

Given what Sotomayor, Kagan, and Breyer said in oral arguments, sadly, that is 100% true. On top of that, their clerks failed to even provide accurate info. All 3 Justices and their clerks are swimming in a sea of disinformation. And they decide binding rulings based on their egregious ignorance.

Nope never said that's why he was unfit for office.

She also said some weird thing about humans being similar to machines and spewing out blood borne viruses (don’t have the actual quote), and that Omicron is more deadly than Delta. She’s an idiot.

These Democrat affirmative action picks have all turned out to be incompetent. It's actually making minorities and women look bad.

I agree with all the posts here. She was so clueless on basic facts and it shows she doesn't belong in the SC. Obama picked her for identity politics and votes. She should be in the traffic court in New York City not SC. Even Judge Judy is better informed than her and she is a tv judge.

That's a fun way of saying she had no clue what she was talking about, probably because she bought into the fear porn pushed by the far left

So -- had to figure this out.
Hard to find exactly what she said because the focus is more on her hyperbole on the chldren.....most news outlets are not commenting on this statement

But I found it.

It was an odd comparison. They discussing OSHA having the authority to mandate masks for individuals who operate machinery that 'spew' materials when being used.

She said that humans 'spew' blood borne viruses.. It was an odd comparison --- and I don't know what she used 'bloodborne' when we know that COVID viruses are spread through 'droplets'.

If OSHA can force workers to wear masks/safety goggles because of the potential of harm from air borne debris....than does that mean OSHA should be able to mandate masks for safety from the COVID virus.

These lawyers know the importance of words and using them properly. She most definitely should not have used hyperbole and should be careful to use language that is more accurate....or not say anything.

Why shouldn’t the federal government have a national rule to protect workers, Sotomayor asked.

Later in her questioning, Keller tried to distinguish the vaccine-or-mask rules from OSHA’s ability to regulate that workplaces require masks when machinery is emitting dangerous sparks.”

“Why is a human being not like a machine if it’s spewing bloodborne viruses” when it comes to OSHA’s authority, Sotomayor pushed back.
