I can. There’s been election fraud claims since there were elections. The 2019/2020 election took fraud allegations up a notch (don’t forget the Dems in the 2016 election), and raised them a Capitol invasion.
So, where’s the logic in condoning, excusing, or downplaying that? I’m sorry, but if you’re going soft on this just because it’s your guy, when other elections spurred protests because their gal lost, but there was no Capitol invasion...I’m sorry (not really), but you need to get out of your PARTISAN bubble, and get on a path of what you ACTUALLY believe is right and wrong, and follow that path before your Trumpism.

It’s like the old joke about the Jewish man walking in Belfast who is cornered by balaclava wearing militants: “Aye, are ye a Catholic or a Protestant?” The Jewish man smiles, “I’m Jewish my friend, Im not a part of this.” The militant pulls back the hammer on the gun and snarls, “are you a Protestant Jew or a Catholic Jew?”
Everyone is still arguing D vs R while the republic circles the drain. When China takes over some of you will corner the Chairman with a knife out and demand to know: “a communist? Yeah, but are you a Democrat communist or a Republican communist?”
In 'professional' politician world it could anything from deal making to their legacy. If they are seeking love and adulation they are in the wrong line of work. Some RINOs were probably told if they make a public statement denouncing Trump they'll get something down the road.
