THE FIGHT TO SAVE AMERICAN DEMOCRACY on CNN is a dead-on description of the danger we face in the USA from the Fascist Right, how they wormed their way into the position of strength they have today, the parallels to the rise of Nazism in the 1930's, and the great potential for a Right-wing coup in 2024 or a future election.
This program is not for the faint-hearted. Children old enough to understand this content should not watch this; as parents and grandparents we should at least give them their last sweet days of innocence.
I don't wear my spiritual beliefs on my sleeve, and I can't really say that it will help - but if there was ever a time to pray for America it is today.

The problem is not with our Constitution. The problem is the weak minded politicians who abanfon the Constitution and put their own interests over the interests if the governed.
Politicians that have been in Congress for years and years and the power and control over the American people has become detrimental. There is so much infighting in the administration for control, no one is watching the countries who have waited patiently while we destroy ourselves from within. Beware the sleeping giant....

what does "fascist" mean? clearly you are worried about it.
Once they succeed in denying the will of the people by subverting our elections, there will be total chaos. Our economy will come to a standstill. We will all pay the price, and it will be unimaginably huge.
I do not believe democracy has ever been "the will of the people". That is just a marketing slogan. The truth is, the money runs this country. Always has, always will. They, as Noam Chomsky wrote a book about, Manufacture Consent. What we call democracy is just the rich using things like the culture war, identity-politics, fear, etc, to gain political power so that they can control the government's purse-strings.
As Republicans will gladly admit, we are not a democracy, and everyone knows it. In fact, that is the source of our strength.
The true danger to America today is the same as it was 160 years ago. That certain business interests, either from greed, or the fear of permanently losing power, will try to rig the system in their favor, or break off entirely.
With that said, I despise democracy with a passion. It is an unbounded fraud that turns everyone against each other.

It's the People’s duty to abolish an abusive government. Today, the People are too ignorant and apathetic to make the changes necessary restore their freedom.

Funny you would post this drivel while the Left has done nothing short of attempting to destroy our nation repeatedly with un-Constitutional, overreaching tyrannical crap for a very long time now.

Democrats and the left are pushing this narrative that democracy is under threat when in fact it is they that are threatening it, and the only reason why they are pushing this narrative that democracy is under threat is because the constitution is limiting their power and because they can't do whatever they want they want to go around the constitution. This is the reason for their "voting rights" bill and so on.
Wanna know when the end of democracy will really come?, when the left succeed in indoctrinating enough to believe it's time to end the constitution as irredeemable and call for a new democratic socialist government.
It happened in Venezuela, democracy was used to end democracy.

The truth is the democrats and the left call anybody that doesn't go along with their plan to not require any I.D to vote or and to allow non-citizens to vote as "fascists" looking to subvert people from "democracy". The truth is the democrats and the left only care about democracy because they want to have votes that will subvert and go around the constitution because it is holding them back from getting their way they can't stand that there are more conservative judges legally appointed or that one or two senators are stopping their socialist agenda.
They care about democracy to the extent that they want what they no matter what the constitution be damned.
Why because they are communists, and communists are excellent liars who will do whatever it takes. They create stories, they deny, they deflect, and they project
