The lockdowns didn’t work the first time did it? Maybe taking care of the borders where unvetted, untested and no doubt unvaccinated illegal immigrants streaming across the border would have helped.
His employer told him if he didn't get vaxxed, he'd be fired, and he chose to keep his job.
He made a choice; he was not held down and forcibly vaccinated against his will.
It's funny that people who think as you do, always find some reason to justify other things. In the period of three days, I heard someone saying the same thing you've said here, and later saying that people who steal often have no choice so they should get much lighter sentencing.
He chose his job over his convictions. Jobs come and go.
Yeah choice to either be homeless, bankrupt, having to sell everything he has because the government is forcing him to choose to vaccinate or lose his job, because the government by use of osha is forcing the employer to require their employees to vaccinate or they pay huge fines. Wow!
You do realize that there is insurance, retirement that he may need and won’t get at a fast food place
So the only options are getting the vaccine or becoming homeless and destitute? What about that other option....you know, getting another job?
Like Biden mandating businesses to require their employees to vaccinate, which unless the Supreme Court says otherwise is going into effect, which is why many businesses started requiring it. Haven’t you heard……..
For those who say, "Well, he could have got another job" --
Well, what if he was a nurse working in a state that demands that ALL healthcare workers be vaccinated?
I wouldn't think it would be so easy to move to another state or to get training in another field and make about the same salary while doing so.
But maybe I'm wrong about that.
P.S. And for those who say that he could have opted for the weekly (twice weekly?) testing -- Well, yes, that would be great IF testing was free or very low cost or the employer would pay -- and, of course, also if getting tested was no problem. (I have read that in some places there are shortages of testing kits and/or there is a long line to get a test.)
It's not required for me at my job. Is it required for you at yours? If this guy felt so strongly about it, why not just get another job if he felt this strongly about it?
My guess is the guy didn't care and his relatives are just lashing out and shadow boxing. Anger is a normal stage of grief, of course.

This man was a father. You don't know what his situation was. There are entire industries, such as hospitality (his industry), that mandated the vaccine and there may not be a lot of options for some of those employees.
It's always so easy to judge. 'Just do this.....' Great that life is so easy for you, but step outside your naive, judgy little bubble and you'll find that's not always the case for the other guy.
We can all see the Corporate Mainstream Media slowly trying to right the ship on the COVID/Vaccine "messaging". People like CDC Director Susan Walensky finally admitting the fatality numbers are all wrong (something many of us have known for quite a while now); Dem politicians attempting to corral the teachers' Unions into re-initiating in person learning; the stark admission that those who are vaccinated spread the virus; masks don't work - so on and so on ad nauseum.
It's all about political messaging to try and reverse the devastating internal polling numbers they no doubt must be seeing. With the mid-terms approaching, we're all supposed to now forget about the insidious authoritarian evils they have been perpetrating on our Nation. As if it is all just going to dissipate into thin air, as if we are all just going to forget.
Well, meanwhile there are still real life consequences precipitated by their sick madness. Admittedly, this is just one tiny example - but for some reason this one hit me hard.
Everyone from Brandon to Fauci to Nancy Pelosi - they're all pure monsters.
And the fact that our reprehensible media won't even deign to cover stories like this, says it all.
We don't matter to them. We are but an obstacle to their globalist plans of total domination.
Well guess what? We aren't going to forget any of this.
And any of you Lefties who try to just whitewash this, and pretend it isn't happening, and dismiss anyone who raises the subject as "kooks" or "insurrectionists" - you're also culpable. And there's nothing remotely "Liberal" about it. You are the cult, not us.
