They should start with her house and see what she thinks about that.

Wow, talk about rich white privilege and out of touch.

But don't worry, she'll be bleating about why prices are higher in poor minority neighborhoods, "food deserts" and so forth next. (if not already).

Pretty much Hollywood where most have no actual education, no diversity of experience where they've lived and then wealth and a platform and you get nothing but piles of out of touch hubris and wackiness.

Whenever someone from Hollywood opines on something, it doesn't matter who or what, it's always good to remember that the opinion is coming from someone who plays dress up for a living.

If it destroys the economy all the better, we can start over again.

I'm with Cynthia.

PS. attacking her house doesn't make sense, she is talking about retail department stores.

If this ever happens I will no longer work...I'd be perfectly content to meditate most of the day, exercise the rest, and subsist off only food and panhandling. A membership to a fitness club would take care of the showers, and move to Florida and live on the beach. . It would take major inflation for that to happen though .. as it stand I could survive 10-20 years on the assets I have.

Where do these elite idiots come up with this crap?
Because their are ivory tower elitists. They look out upon the masses, and view "the poor" and especially the non white poor, as emotional animals, unable to care for themselves or contain their emotions, unable to tell right from wrong.

Would you blame a stray dog for stealing food from the garbage cans? No, it's just a desperate animal, and doesn't know any better. The elitists see the poor in the same light, as animals that should not be held accountable for their actions.

I grew up dirt poor, we didn't steal or resort to crime. We always knew the difference between right and wrong.

I suggest all television and movies are free, and actors and actresses don't get paid.

I suggest a 99% tax on all celebrities, in order to redistribute the money to the poor.

I suggest we take all Cynthia's property from her and give it to poor black people.

We can all suggest things.

The truth is all that stuff in the shops Cynthia belongs to people and pays poor peoples wages, and theft is in the long run added to the price of goods, making them more expensive for everyone including the poor. Whilst shops also close due to theft.

Also when the tax rate for the wealthy including celebrities was high in Britain in the 1960's. with a top rate of income tax was 83%, a lot of the high earners and celebrities went abroad. Perhaps the US should implement a similar tax now and see how many of celebrities actually support such redistribution of wealth when it becomes a reality.

I suggest idiotic celebrities just shut up and stop embarrassing themselves.
