I think the number of omicron infections are higher than are being counted.
This easily makes the percentage of serious infections go way down to acceptable levels.
A few weeks ago I got sick (which I rarely do).
Sniffles, sore throat, head and body aches.
Omicron?
More than likely but I don’t know
I was a couple states away from my doctor and couldn’t find a pharmacy that had test kits or able to find a designated test location.
I’m sure I wasn’t the only one who couldn’t get tested or properly documented and counted.
I just wasn’t sick enough to go and spend a half a day in the hospital so I took care of myself.
There is probably a LOT of things out there to help people get though covid.......not all of them are tin-foil-hattery.
One of them, let me see...........Japan, very low amount of overweight and/or obese. Compared that fact to the state of the USA, well, everybody knows the deal with that.
I certainly agree with the bolded. I've been saying for a while now, if those in power really cared about our health and safety, they would never have allowed our obesity rate to hit 42%.
And, everyone apparently is not aware that, world wide, only 170 people died allegedly to Omicron and, instead, got obsessed with positive tests. What, in its turn, means squat as tests are faulty like heck and, if no one is dying, what difference do they make? Millions were sick every flu season. No one freaked out. Millions died to flu, no one freaked out.
What difference does it make now? Y'all suddenly gonna live forever?
I completely agree. I've been home sick with what I think is Omichron since Sunday. And everyone was urging me to get a test. I'm like why? I'm going to to the same thing regardless of the test results--stay home until I get better. And yes, I'm vaccinated less than 4 months ago (but no, not boosted, and not going to get boosted, either).
I don't know about Forbes, but many of the mainstream media TV outlets receive 30% of their revenue from pharmaceutical companies. So I don't really trust what mainstream media says.
I live in FL I have not worn a mask since May or so when I got my second shot. I wear it if required, in my neighborhood I would say 80% wear masks even though they dont have to, the lower socio economics the less masks you see, I been playing indoor and outdoor soccer since July so I dont see the pointing wearing a mask not gonna stop playing. Anyway literally everyone I know that was not vaccinated (4) and a couple of people (3) that were even boosted got covid this week, they all been mild but everyone is catching it.
