We’ll find out who’s pretending when the Oath Keepers sing.

Anyone who talks about overthrowing the government and then goes to a riot should get at least 20 years in prison. That would wipe out nearly all of BLM and antifa. Hell, anyone who even talks about overthrowing the government should get 20 years in prison. That is sedition, it is illegal.

This country is pathetic.

Hannity, Jordan, etc. were all appealing to the former President to stop the mob, not the DC mayor, or Pelosi.

Sedition is language intended to incite insurrection against the governing authority. Edward Jenks, in The Book of English Law, contends that sedition is “perhaps the very vaguest of all offences,” and attempted to define it as “the speaking or writing of words calculated to excite disaffection against the Constitution as by law established, to procure the alteration of it by other than lawful means, or to incite any person to commit a crime to the disturbance of the peace. . .” Currently, the federal government criminalizes seditious conspiracy in 18 U.S.C. § 2384, which states,

This is the best....I guess most of the blm/antifa should also be indicted.....

A Black Lives Matter leader has threatened 'riots' and 'bloodshed' in the streets of New York City if Mayor-elect Eric Adams reinstates the NYPD's anti-crime units - a vow Adams later doubled down on the following day.

If you reinstate this law, people will die....seems like sedition to me?

Curious isn't it, that the feds charge these people after over a year of waiting. Why? Maybe because they were made to look like fools on TV, when Senators were asking them how they can refer to Jan 6th as an "insurrection," when no one has even been charged with it. Then, 48 hours after they were made to look like fools on TV, they charged these men with sedition.

Sedition seems to be complicated, what in your expertise tells you a year is too long. How long did the other sedition indictments take.

So glad it wasn't an insurrection it's just sedition, that is a giant victory for the perpetrators.

It's really not, read post 356 and then get back with us, you and cuebald must have conveniently missed that post. Is it because you'd have to be honest? So just don't acknowledge posts you don't agree with.

I think timing may have played a role in announcing the charges, but alas I am sure these charges were well in the pipeline based on the ongoing investigation against members of the Oath Keepers. You don't always get to center of the problem before hand.

Why would anyone have to appeal to our president to stop the attack on our capitol. He should have done it the moment it started.
