It was 70 year ago. Nowadays Siberian cities are well developed and modern.

NOTHING he said was wrong except I would want to live in Siberia as a white American. Russia? Yes. Siberia? No thanks. In fact my wife just accepted a job where in 2 years she can apply for transfer to several countries in Europe. looking forward to LEAVING!

They may as well go to Alaska, ND, SD, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming. Even Nebraska, parts of Utah, and Kansas has lots of areas with very low density, people can hide in. These small towns have downtowns that are empty of stores. The rent will be cheap. They can start their own communities there. No need to go all the way to Siberia.
