Alleged killer used to work at the same BK, prior to his victim’s tenure.
Shortly after leave BK he went to an ATM to withdraw EBT cash which captured his image and distinctive belt. LE traced him to the Day’s Inn near the Kennedy airport which is a homeless shelter. Weapon has not be found.
He has prior arrests/ unknown convictions.
Sounds like the killer is in full on blame throwing mode. Jails and prisons throughout the country are bursting with inmates who claim innocence or blame throw.
The new Manhattan DA has made clear his intention to not prosecute minor victimless crimes. Some media/ social media morphed it into an intent to not prosecute any crime.

Everyone is innocent until proven guilty. But if the DA doesn't go after him to the maximum allowed, it will just go to show that it truly is open season on the citizens of NYC.
