In California, we will be lucky if they remove the restrictions 2 years down the road.

Now everyone seems fine. It was quite the surge however, it was kind of crazy how fast viruses spread but it makes sense with holiday travel.

Anyone want to bet Australia will be the last country in the world to go back to normal? Seriously what happened to that country?
I would bet Australia is far from last, new Zealand has been much stricter the whole time and still is. Just has far less media scrutiny over it.

Anyway good on Boris, the walls are certainly comming down in Australia if you are vacinated, and I look forward to that been expanded.

And I think the reason Boris is letting up is that they are screaming for him to resign because he partied during a long lockdown. They're calling it Partygate!

Unlike the UK (and, in fact, any other countries), Americans have been maliciously and ignorantly divided. No other countries see such hatred by the vaccinated toward the unvaccinated (or unmasked) as in the US. So it's unlikely this will happen in the US. Plus we have Fauci, who was just saying, against many other experts, that Omicron may not be the end of the pandemic.

Now what did all their covid overreaction over the last 2 years get us? A few more saved 71 year olds with 2.8 comorbidities? To shutter the supply chain, destroy the youth of children, harm the psychological health of the entire planet... Nice work progressives, as usual. Job well done. The nanny state umbrella society succeeds again.

People ignored omicron, it spread unchecked, and life went on.

Czech folk singer Hanka Horka deliberately infected herself to prove what this scamdemic is all about. Hanka is deceased.

Go Boris! There is a brain underneath that hair after all.

This is the same Boris who made masks compulsory, required proof of vaccine to enter large capacity venues and strongly encouraged the masses to work from home.

And now that the latest surge of Covid HAS PEAKED , Boris intends to remove the restrictions/ mandates.
Local governments may or may not go along, depending on infection rates.

Based on previous surges / peaks, the UK is 3-4 weeks ahead of the US.
