The Arizona parties do this. I think Flake and McCain got censured by the Arizona Republican Party. Censure by a party is meaningless. Even more so than censure in a body of legislature. That said, Sinema is a chicken chit who doesn't care about her consistuents who are subject to one of these laws and is an idealist who thinks we can koombya our way to an agreement. Our nation is too divided for that.

This is one of many reasons I dislike both major parties. They both like to play lip service to the fact that they have a "big tent" and it seems hard to believe they take that to hear when both punish members that dare to step a toe out of line. This seems similar to Liz Cheney being stripped of her leadership position and being censured by Wyoming's Republican
party. Leadership in both major parties are hypocrites and think we are all too stupid to notice.

The problem is we don't stand up and try to find a voice that isn't of the two parties so there is no check on the parties. We honestly need a third party to rise up and shake things up. The problem is it would likely be a corporatist party with worms like Sinema or Flake involved.

Censuring a congressperson for voting the way her constituents want?
Democrats are a criminal bullying organization and I'm glad they're digging their grave further everyday. They are a pathetic lying mob.

This is true, sometimes even though I'm a solid republican when I have criticized Trump, even though I view him favorable overall as far as performance but I'm not a boot licker to anybody, I was called out as a liberal , or RINO, and so on.

Both sides have become so polarized, one side being for Trump all the way that they believe he owns the RNC, the other side gone so far left, that anyone who dare not agree lockstep ALWAYS is called out, this is not healthy when there is a mindset of " well you didn't agree with me on position A or vote that way so I won't engage you or ever support you on position B",

She basically voted to save our Senate allowing the minority party to still have a voice in our government and the Democrat party is punishing her over it which is absolutely disgraceful.

The Democrat party has somehow turned into an organized mafia like group. Criminals punishing the fair and law abiding.

The ultimate irony would be if there is a Republican tidal wave at the mid-terms her fellow Dems will be hailing her as a heroic visionary for 'saving' the filibuster to stem off Republican based legislation.
