Gwyneth Paltrow.
She's got to be guilty of something.

It may not have turned out to be great long term strategy but at the time most of it (not all) was absolutely necessary.
Yes, FDR’s programs should have been temporary. Instead he created the welfare monster and the social security monster and so forth.

I say it's the voters. We are the ones responsible for putting these zealots in office. They care nothing about the good of the country nor the needs of the people. It's all about power, and destroying the opposition. Money runs the elections and limits who can run for office. We are given a choice of bad or worse. And in time we will reach the point of no return.

Depends on why you think America has fallen.
Gloria Steinem for changing the traditional family, McCarthy for government over reach in private lives, fdr for the social programs, bob Guccione for sexuality norms, Ronald Regan for the wealth gap,

Reagan ruined everything. And every Republican since him has capitalized on that destruction.
Starting with dropping the corporate tax rate from 70% to 28%.

HA Funny. One person... well Boomers. Just Boomers..

That entire generation grew up to hate this country because of all the people who died so they would have a future before them... and, until they are gone, we will never have a country.

I count the days and hope they don't do something stupid on the way out.

After massive moves of manufacturing to Japan and Taiwan that began in the 1950s, the moving of manufacturing to Mexico in the 1960s and the movement of manufacturing to South America in the 1970s.
