How is this ok? I can understand the President having his own intentions for his own reasons…but he’s already announced it! Is this what America is supposed to be about?
If you tell the world you are going to pick person for a position due to their gender and skin color, you are telling the world this person did not earn this.
Joe Biden is saying, Look at Me, see how good I am. Thoust behold, I have the Power, and you are beholden to Me as I shall take the Glory! And you that are Beholden to me, you shall eat the crumbs I shall mete out for youst.
I think it's pretty stupid, but folks will lap it up as the only scant chance at a feel-good they will get between now and the midterms.
1. Explain what makes any of the eight women whose names are being bandied about unqualified or valid targets of not earning the position if picked.
2. Rep Clyburn contacted Biden after his last loss before the South Carolina primary. He told Biden he would endorse him on two conditions....One, that he tighten up his answers (stop rambling)...so much for that , and two, that, if a vacancy comes, that he nominate a black woman to SCOTUS.
Biden forgot to mention this during a debate. Clyburn went backstage during the break in the debate and reminded him, and Biden mentioned it close to the end of the debate.
Imagine if job applicants or College Admissions were handled in such manner.
Well, they are but it's still wrong.
Why it's wrong:
We used to try to teach our kids that if they work hard, they can achieve. Now, we can no longer say that. Merit means nothing. If it's not an attempt to destroy the American dream, it's certainly an unintended consequence. It creates a victimhood mentality...that if you gripe enough, you can get something. It creates a system of spoiled brats, which we now have.

It already is unconstitutional, as well as being against Federal law.
Biden announced that he would exclude 3/4 of all candidates for the SCOTUS seat, due solely to their skin color or gender.
If I were a hiring manager, and did that with 3/4 of the candidates for a job, rejecting them based solely on their skin color or gender, I'd wind up in jail instantly.
Why doesn't Joe wind up in jail?
Don't kid yourself. Hiring a white male in a corporate job now is a no no and they are not shy about admitting it. My husband works for a major US company in a high level position. They are told to ONLY hire diversity hires. They hire the person and someone else has to do the work they are not qualified to do.

It wasn`t this way for 200 years but now the shoe is on the other foot. How does it feel?

Xoe's racism is perfectly acceptable to his fans. it's the 'right kind' of racism.
Biden is going to pick someone based mainly on race, that much is almost assured.
Will it be a blatant statement that clearly makes race the biggest factor.....nope.
That is how to cover tracks, do it for racial-reasons, but talk like race had little to nothing
to do with the decision.
It's too late. He already said it. So it will be/is.
