You are taking this all out of context. If true, these people had PREEXISTING conditions that made vaccination especially valuable to them. Unfortunately it sounds like the unvaccinated around them were enough to give them the disease on top of their other health issues. So sad.
Funeral directors aren't doctors. He has no basis to speculate on the cause of clots, and has no method to know their origin or placement. This is coming from another licensed funeral director / embalmer.

Might clots be a natual thing that happens upon death?
And the funeral embalmer never noticed it until now? That seems suspect.
