using the "racist" filibuster in 2003, and actively voiced opposition and obstructed her nomination (threatened filibuster) in 2005.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Janice_Rogers_Brown

She was nominated by Bush to the DC Circuit Court - one of the "training grounds for SCOTUS". She had a hearing, and was passed out of committee. The Senate was 51-48, Republicans.

But in those days, the filibuster (cloture vote) required 60. Cloture failed.

Now, you might think - 18 years ago, wow. Surely there are no racist Dems still in the Senate! Here's some of the Dems that served then and are still in the Senate:

Dick Durbin, now head of Judicial Committee
Chuck Schumer, Leader of the Senate
Dianne Feinstein
Ron Wyden
Patrick Leahy, current Appropriations Chair, and Senate president Pro Tem
Patty Murray

Here are some other notable Dem Senators at the time:

Joe Biden
Hillary Clinton
Barack Obama
Harry Reid

Most balls Dubyah showed in his entire presidency was nominating her again and getting her seated.

FWIW - JRB is one of my top three most awesome living Americans. Beyond a doubt one of the greatest minds our country possesses. A true national treasure.

You have to understand, when Democrats talk about "Black people", they mean politically Black people, which has nothing to do with skin color..... that's why they use an upper case B.

Democrats don't, and have never cared about black people, they've always seen them as their property. Those who accept they are DNC property are the politically Black people democrats are interested in. They despise runaways as much now as they did hundreds of years ago.

Well,..we all know if you didn't vote for Biden , you ain't Black.

They can't be racist since by default, anyone that disagrees with them are not Black.
This is how Lefties try to 'Define' themselves into righteousness.

We all are aware that “you ain’t Black if you don’t vote for Democrats”.
Kinda like Black Lives don’t mater at all if they are murdered by Blacks …. Even the poor children.
Those deaths are on their conscience, whether they admit it or not.

And Dianne Feinstein had a Chinese spy driving her for 20 years. That alone should have had her removed from office.
