it's alienating everyone except the radical leftists pushing it.
Quote:
Examining the political identity of non-white Americans offers an unspoken perspective. To begin, the blanket term “people of colour,” ubiquitous on the political left, is a glaring point of contention. It lumps together non-white people under the assumption that, by virtue of not being white, we are indistinguishable from each other.
Not only is this racist, but contradictions abound within this framework of thinking. For example, non-white people can have their POC status revoked and replaced with “white privilege” if they succeed in society or behave in a way that leftists don’t appreciate.
I'm so sick and tired of race being pushed to the front of EVERYTHING right now. I just don't care about color or whatever. People are just people and we need to get away from all of this type of identity politics.
The lack of awareness or acknowledgement of what factor race plays in day to day living in America is what has been far more harmful and alienating to minorities than anything that is happening now.
Unless your are a minority, I don't think you get it. It has been very very bad for a very very long time.
The pendulum has swung, and maybe too far, but it definitely needed to be recognized.
lol yeah what pushback? Instead of actually pushing back the the right is like "no no we not racist, the left is the real racist. We all the same but the left is trying to divide us. We do want immigration, tons of it, just legal immigration."
There is no pushback lol. Literally none.
Sean Hannity
Ben Shipiro
Tucker Carlson
etc
None of them are doing anything that is pushing back.
The left’s obsession with race is alienating minorities in America
Yep. Very few people actually like to be pandered to, put on a pedestal, singled out, etc. It's degrading. "Hey, look at little Johnny. He's special needs!" Very few people appreciate that crap whether then are special needs or not.
